verisVeris Group will offer penetration testing, cyber hunting and risk and vulnerability assessment services to government agencies through the General Services Administration‘s Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services Special Item Number.

The company said Friday its adaptive threat division that offers red teaming, hunt operations and application security assessment services will act as a primary provider of services to customers through the GSA Schedule 70 contract.

“Assessment and detection techniques are rapidly evolving and many agencies see the need to leverage experience from outside experts who also serve healthcare, finance, and other commercial clients,” said David McGuire, vice president of Veris Group’s adaptive threat division.

McGuire added that the company offers assessment practices to help government customers stay current with tradecraft and detection techniques.

Veris Group says it will also be among the first companies to offer agencies such cybersecurity services in support of the president’s Cybersecurity National Action Plan and Cybersecurity Implementation Plan.
