Accenture will help Finland’s national immigration service offer a program designed to support the digital transformation of the agency’s operations in a push to boost overall customer experience and introduce self-service options for citizens.
Accenture said Wednesday that in addition to the Smart Digital Agency program support, it will also work to bolster the Migri agency’s digital capacities to manage user service requests for actions related to immigration, residency, refugee-related matters and citizenship.
The company noted that it will also help the immigration service review the strategies that the agency utilizes to streamline internal processes such as internal and external information sharing such as the dissemination of information with other agencies and state authorities.
“The Finnish immigration service wants to be a pioneer in the delivery of digital public services and to be an example to public service agencies seeking to build their digital capabilities,” said Vesa Hagstrom, development director at Migri.
Accenture added that the Smart Digital Agency program will analyze the role of emerging analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics and intelligent processing technologies on the Finnish immigration services’ operations.
