Polaris Industries to Deliver 78 DAGOR Combat Vehicles to Canada; John Olson Comments - top government contractors - best government contracting eventPolaris Industries has received a $14.9 million contract from Canada’s government to deliver of fleet of 78 combat vehicles with a capacity to carry up to nine commandos, Ottawa Citizen reported Thursday.

David Pugliese writes the contract will cover integrated logistics support and technical support services for including spare parts and driver training for the DAGOR vehicles that Canadian special forces refer to as Ultra Light Combat Vehicles.

John Olson, vice president and general manager of Polaris’ government and defense business, said that the agreement to deliver DAGOR vehicles to CANSOFCOM builds on the company’s current domestic base.

Pierre-Alain Bujold, Public Services and Procurement Canada spokesman, said the first 52 ULCV units will be delivered in 2017 with remaining 26 vehicles scheduled for early 2018.
