PCX Aerostructures to Supply Army Apache Weapon Connecting Links - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe Defense Logistics Agency has awarded PCX Aerostructures a potential five-year, $67 million contract to supply right connecting links for the weapon system of the U.S. Army‘s AH-64 Apache attack helicopters.

The Defense Department said Thursday the Army will use working capital funds from fiscal 2017 through fiscal 2022 to pay for the procurement of the Apache weapon connecting links.

Work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is scheduled to finish by June 30, 2022.

Newington, Connecticut-based PCX manufactures wing, fuselage and engine components as well as offers painting, heat treating and non-destructive testing services for large structural airframe assemblies.
