Collab9 to Deploy Unified Comms Platform for CBP - top government contractors - best government contracting eventCollab9 will deploy its unified communications-as-a-service platform for the Customs and Border Protection as part of a contract awarded to collab9’s partner company Presidio.

The award — issued through the EAGLE II procurement vehicle — requires Presidio to perform professional, managed and ongoing support services such as strategy, consulting, design and implementation support, collab9 said Wednesday.

Collab9’s cloud-based UCaaS platform is designed to provide voice, video, messaging, mobility, conferencing, e911 and contact center services that meet the federal government’s security requirements.

The company’s UCaaS system obtained a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program authority to operate from the Federal Communications Commission in 2016.

The partnership with CBP will mark the first deployment of a FedRAMP-certified UCaaS platform in the U.S. federal government, collab9 noted.
