Ryan Lewis, formerly capture manager at Knight Point Systems, has been promoted to director of capture and response at the Reston, Virginia-based government technology and consulting services contractor, GovCon Executive has learned.
Lewis will oversee capture and proposal teams to respond to potential business opportunities, build up the company’s sales lifecycle and align bids and opportunities with corporate strategies in his new role.
He joined Knight Point in October 2010 as a network analyst and since then held program management roles with responsibility over several federal government projects, including the managed compliance services contract with the Department of Homeland Security and data center consolidation effort with the Labor Department.
Lewis also served as a program manager for the company’s Horizon hybrid cloud platform.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering and a master’s degree in information technology from the University of Virginia.
