ViON has launched cloud-based platform that is designed to let users compare, purchase and manage information technology services.
The company said Wednesday its Marketplace works to offer a wide range of “as-a-service” data center technologies and help IT managers oversee IT requirements, procurement, workflows, contracts and performance indicators.
ViON CEO and Chairman Tom Frana said the Marketplace is intended to address organizations’ need to research, purchase and manage the best available technology as well as give original equipment manufacturers the opportunity to offer their products as-a-service.
The ViON-hosted Marketplace can be accessed by authorized customers, OEMs and resellers.
The platform is designed to assist users throughout product research, delivery, acceptance, billing and service-level agreement metrics.
