Federal Premium has received a potential five-year contract from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to supply .40 caliber ammunition rounds for mission and training applications.
The company said Friday it will deliver up to 180 million Tactical HST rounds to multiple Department of Homeland Security components and other federal customers.
HST is designed with a nickel-plated case, a bullet nose profile, a primer and low-flash propellants
Federal Premium expanded the ammunition’s diameter and weight retention capacities in a move to help users manage firing precision with semi-automatic handguns.
