VSE has secured a potential 30-month, $28.5 million task order to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul support for the U.S. Air Force‘s military transport aircraft fleet.
The company said Monday it will perform organizational MRO services for the 314th Air Wing headquartered at Little Rock AF Base in Arkansas.
USAF awarded the order under the Contract Field Teams indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle.
J.R. Brown, president of VSE’s federal services group, said the company will support the Defense Department‘s C-130J flight training center for U.S. pilots and loadmasters and partner nations through the CFT program.
The order contains a one-year base period, a one-year option period and an additional six-month option.
CFT contracts help the U.S. military address maintenance, repair and modernization requirements for aircraft, vehicles, weapons systems and other equipment.
