Systems Planning and Analysis has received a Capability Maturity Model Integration level 3 rating from the CMMI Institute for the company’s approach to personnel augmentation services and research and development software.
The CMMI maturity level 3 was granted after an independent appraiser evaluated SPA’s more than 20 process areas across program management and technical competencies in March, the company said Thursday.
“This rating indicates that our work has received the highest form of third-party validation,†said William Vantine, SPA president and CEO.
Vantine noted that the company works to implement a proactive approach to processes and projects in support of clients.
The CMMI level 3 appraisal seeks to suggest that SPA carries out work at a “defined†level and continuously updates its standard processes.
