Lockheed Martin has signed a contract with Guardtime Federal to incorporate cyber and data integrity capabilities into the former’s aircraft systems and processes in an effort to address data manipulation threats.
Lockheed said Monday the integration work with Guardtime Federal aims to deliver a digital linked data distribution system and speed up the deployment of capabilities to support missions amid persistent threats in the cyber domain.
“Our goal is to provide every soldier, sailor, airman and Marine the confidence that they can rely on the information they see and the equipment they operate without fear that it has been manipulated by an outside force,” said David Hamilton, president of Guardtime Federal.
The agreement builds on both companies’ mission support testing work in 2015 and integration systems support partnership in 2017 related to software development and supply chain risk management efforts.
