John Mulholland, former associate director of military affairs at the CIA, has joined Klas Telecom Government to guide the company’s board of directors as a special adviser.

He will provide the company’s board strategic guidance built on experience in leading the country’s elite military forces, the communications firm said Thursday.

Mulholland is a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general who has commanded joint special operations forces and led missions contributing to Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.

He then served with the CIA in his final course as an active duty officer.

“We are honored to welcome LTG Mulholland as an advisor to the board and very much look forward to his expertise in providing a strategic vision for our organization,” said Dave Huisenga, president and CEO at Klas Telecom Government.
