Chenega Wins DARPA Physical Security Support Contract; Timothy Lamb Comments - top government contractors - best government contracting event

A Chenega Corp. subsidiary has won a potential five-year, $42.2M contract to provide physical security support services to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

Chenega Infinity will help DARPA’s security and intelligence directorate protect agency personnel, business operations, data and facilities, according to a FedBizOpps summary.

“Chenega is very pleased to have the opportunity to serve the Security and Intelligence Directorate of DARPA by providing physical security support services at its facility in Arlington, Va.,” Timothy Lamb, president of Chenega’s Security Strategic Business Unit, told ExecutiveBiz Friday.

DARPA received 11 offers for the firm-fixed-price-cost, labor-hour contract that has an $8.2M initial value, the Defense Department said Sept. 4.

Work will take place in Arlington, Va., and the base period of performance runs through December 2019.

The Missile Defense Agency awarded Chenega Infinity a separate $44.9M contract in June to provide security and access control services across the MDA’s enterprise.
