Paul Dolan, chief operating officer of Aviation Technical Services, has joined the Defense Department advisory board that offers advice to DoD and senior military leaders on how to incorporate business practices into their operations.
He will join other industry executives who serve on the Defense Business Board and bring private-sector perspective to the department, ATS said Wednesday.
Prior to joining ATS as chief commercial officer in 2016, Dolan held executive roles at aircraft gas turbine engine manufacturer Chromalloy and before that served as a U.S. Navy strike fighter pilot for nine years.
Everett, Wash.-based ATS offers maintenance, repair and overhaul services for military and commercial transport aircraft platforms.
