The U.S. Navy has selected Gibbs & Cox to provide maintenance support services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Philadelphia under a potential five-year, $20 million contract. Work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity will support the center's materials, structures, environmental and protection department, the company said Tuesday.

Nanette DeRenzi, a retired U.S. Navy vice admiral and chief operating officer of Jefferson Consulting Group, has joined the board of directors at naval engineering and design company Gibbs and Cox. She served in the Navy for 29 years and served as the service branch's judge advocate general for three years prior to her retirement in 2015, Gibbs and Cox said Tuesday.
