Aquala Bogan – Lead Writer

Aquala Bogan hails from Los Angeles and is the lead writer of ExecutiveBiz. She studied broadcast journalism at California State University, Northridge, and contributed to the school’s TV news show and radio station writing and anchoring stories broadcast throughout the Los Angeles area. Through American University’s Washington Semester Program, she interned at C-SPAN and gained more knowledge about business news through an internship with CNBC.

 

Katie Noland – Writer

Katie Noland is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Virginia Tech with a bachelors degree in English focusing on Creative Writing. She has been a contributing writer to the Virginia Tech website and a reporter for the Collegiate Times with creative pieces published in both the National Society of Collegiate Scholars newsletter and Virginia Tech’s Silhouette.

 

Ross Wilkers – Writer

Ross Wilkers is a Northern Virginia native who decided to stay in the region. He graduated from George Mason University, Fairfax, in 2010 with a B.A. in communication with a journalism concentration. He wrote stories on government and local business for the Patch.com website based in Manassas and the Fauquier Times- Democrat, a twice-weekly newspaper published in Warrenton.

 

Tim Watson – Writer

Tim Watson graduated from Washington and Lee University in May 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in business-journalism. He has had several articles published in USA Today’s Money Section and has completed freelance work for the Valley Business Front.
