Verizon: Cyber Espionage, Privilege Misuse, Miscellaneous Errors as Top 3 Breach Patterns in Public Sector
A new Verizon report says cyber espionage, error by insiders and privilege misuse accounted for 72 percent of data breaches in the public sector. Verizon analyzed over 41K security incidents and more than 2K data breaches from 86 countries for the 2019 Data Breach Investigations Report and found that 16 percent of breaches occurred in the public sector.

Leonardo Demonstrates Helicopter for FAA Certification
Leonardo has conducted flight tests for a single-engine helicopter in a move to attain certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, Rotor and Wing International reported Tuesday. The company is pitching its TH-119 helicopter to the U.S. Navy as a training rotorcraft, and requires an instrument flight rules certification that verifies an aircraft's ability to traverse through austere weather conditions.

The company said Tuesday its Vbrick Rev platform has passed the TRM software evaluation process, verifying the software's approval for use in the VA environment.
