Shashank Samant Takes Helm at GlobalLogic

Shashank Samant has taken his 20 years of OPD experience from Ness Technologies and joined GlobalLogic as president. Marketing, sales, management, and global business development fall under Samant’s authority. Sanjay Singh, E.V.P. of business management at GlobalLogic, said of Samant, “What impresses me most about Shashank is his passion for innovation. There are very few people in our industry who have such a unique combination of proven experience building software product labs and clarity of vision for where this market is headed. GlobalLogic is a unique technology firm focused on designing specialized offshore engineering centers for companies while concentrating on R & D. While at Ness Technologies, Mr. Samant was president, guiding the IT service provider for four years and building it to 3,000 employees. Before taking this position, he worked for Hewlett-Packard improving its lab in India. At Citicorp, Samant created an offshore development center and fostered its FlexCube Banking product.
