Economic Leader David Walker Headlines at upcoming POC Event

On March 13, 2009, the Potomac Officers Club will host the Honorable David Walker, President and CEO of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation and former Comptroller General of the United States and head of the Government Accountability Office (GAO). Walker has built a remarkable reputation as the government’s Chief Audit Officer. For weeks, the media has been abuzz with the future of the Blackberry in the White House.” President Obama has convinced his security team to allow him to keep his Blackberry, albeit with some hush hush modifications. He quipped, “”I won the fight but I don’t think it’s up and running yet,” He will use it to communicate with senior staff and a select group of personal friends.
