Vangent, Inc. has announced that Wanda Gamble, Rosie Gaylord and Kelley Malott will join the company as Business Development Directors in the Health Solutions Group. Their combined 45 years of experience in the healthcare industry will support Vangent as the company continues to expand its healthcare IT business.
Mac Curtis, Vangent’s CEO said, “Healthcare reform is at the top of the Obama Administration’s agenda and there is an unprecedented opportunity for Vangent’s solutions to drive measurable change in current and future systems.” He said the addition of three new business development directors to the Health Solutions Group “builds on to our extensive market expertise and will enable us to strategically grow our healthcare business further.”
Wanda Gamble imparts more than15 years of experience to her role as Business Development Director, HHS – NIH, CDC, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Agency (SAMSHA), and OS. Previously, Ms. Gamble served as the Director of Business Development for the Global Health Sector at SRA International where she was responsible for a $1.2B global health pipeline with a primary focus on the Department of Health & Human Services. Ms. Gamble began her career in the United States Air Force and holds a B.S. in Government from Auburn University and a M.S. in Telecommunications Management from Golden Gate University.
Rosie Gaylord brings over 20 years of experience with the Department of Defense and Veterans Administration to her new position of Business Development Director, DoD Healthcare at Vangent. Before Vangent, she served as Federal Account Manager at Panduit Corporation, where she was responsible for Federal accounts in excess of $1.3 billion and focused on sales data tracking, forecasting, planning, product training and certification for federal customers. Also, Ms. Gaylord led the territorial global alliance for partners, including Cisco, HP, IBM, Rockwell Automation, Fluke Networks, EMC, and Liebert. During her 20 year of sales experience, she graduated from several executive level training programs including Total Quality Management (TQM), The Afterburner Team Building University Strategy and Execution Program and the New Leaf Selling Professional Sales Executive Program.
Kelley Malott, Vangent’s new DHS Biodefense and Civilian Health Business Development Director has over a decade of healthcare, business development and sales experience. Prior to joining Vangent, Ms. Malott worked for Microsoft Corporation where and was one of the original members of their Heath Solutions Group (HSG). She led high level strategy and business development initiatives for Microsoft’s Healthcare Consumer and Enterprise solutions and grew HSG’s client and partner portfolio to include Military Health System (MHS), Veterans Affairs (VA), Johns Hopkins Health System, New York Presbyterian, and DC RHIO. She graduated from The Catholic University of America and holds a M.S. in Neuropsychology.
