Before being appointed president and CEO of SRA International in 2007, Stan Sloane served as executive vice president of integrated systems and solutions at Lockheed Martin Corporation. In his position, he led an organization that rendered systems engineering and integration services to the federal government and other international clients.
Sloane began his career in 1984 with General Electric Aerospace where he gained experience in numerous areas, including engineering, program management and business development. Prior to joining GE Aerospace, Sloane served as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
Sloane holds a bachelor's degree in professional studies (aeronautics) from Barry University, a master's degree in human resources management from Pepperdine University, and a doctor of management degree from the Weatherhead Business School at Case Western Reserve University.
