Wes Bush is the president and chief operating officer of Northrop Grumman, and he also serves on the company’s Board of Directors and on the corporate policy council. He was appointed corporate vice president and chief financial officer for the company in 2005.
Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Bush served as president and CEO for TRW’s U.K.-based Global Aeronautical Systems. He joined TRW in 1987 as a systems engineer, and in 1996 he was named program manager of a defense satellite program for the defense systems division. Two years later, Bush became vice president of TRW Space & Electronics’ planning and business development, with duties including managing the organization’s planning, resource management, and strategic development initiatives.
After being vice president and general manager of the telecommunication programs division, Bush he served as vice president and general manager of TRW Ventures, an organization focused on leveraging TRW’s advanced technologies to create new business opportunities in commercial markets.
Bush received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also is a graduate of UCLA’s Executive Management Program.
