Executive Profile: Adnan Ahmed of CNSI

adnan1Adnan Ahmed is co-founder and chief strategy officer of CNSI. He is responsible for generating new business opportunities for the company, with focus on identifying new strategic markets and leveraging relationships with customers and partners.

Additionally, Ahmed oversees sales, marketing, government relations and business development across the company’s strategic business units.

Under Ahmed’s direction, CNSI has seen 15 consecutive years of stable growth. In the last few years, revenues have increased from $76.3 million in 2004 to more than $160 million in 2008.  Ahmed is credited for CNSI’s expansion into several new verticals, including healthcare.

Ahmed has more than 16 years of sales and business development experience in the IT industry, particularly in the federal and state government contracting arena. Prior to founding CNSI, Ahmed started the federal product sales division for INET Inc., a government systems integrator, growing it to $30 million in three years.
