Wednesday Wins: Your Weekly Recap of the Biggest GovCon Contract Awards

Good news for Northrop Grumman this week: the firm landed a $100 million BPA to go along with a $775 million CANES award from the Navy.

SAIC turned heads with a $625 million software deal from the Navy and added a BPA through subsidiary R.W. Beck for good measure.

Paul Cofoni chimed in on CACI’s new DoD award, while KBR boss Bill Bodie shared his opinion on his firm’s $2.3 billion Iraq support deal.

Lockheed notched a strong week’s work winning a deal to develop a new logistics system for Marines, a radar contract from NGC Aerospace and two deals with foreign governments: one with Tunisia to provide Super Hercules Airlifters and one to provide F-16s to Egypt.

Boeing captured a deal to provide laser weapons to the Navy, while InfoPro inked a deal with DHS to support border protection.  MAXIMUS got good news from down under, winning a pair of service employment contracts from Australia.  Harris won a communications follow-on from the Navy and Raytheon’s SLAMRAAM picked up $18 million in funding.

GTEC’s John Hillen spoke up on his firm’s deal to continue support of the NRL, while ICFI’s Ellen Glover gave her thoughts on their HUD contract victory.

Also, Thales scored a valuable Communications deal from the French army, while BAE and General Dynamics snagged military vehicle support deals.
