Clarence D. Johnson joined NCI Information Systems, Inc. in 2002 after having a long career with the U.S. Army, where he achieved the rank of colonel. He now serves as executive vice president and general manager of the Army programs sector at NCI. In that capacity, Johnson oversees the U.S. Army enterprise-wide IT services and solutions that the company provides to support the Army’s mission.
Johnson has more than 30 years of leadership in the IT and logistics arena, having had positions such as program manager and as IT transformation leader in the high-technology sector.
Since he joined NCI, Johnson has been instrumental in the management and operational execution of many of the NCI’s multi-year Government Wide Acquisition Contracts, Multiple Award Contracts and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts.
Johnson has a master’s degree in national resource strategy from the National Defense University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Virginia Union University.
