Job Description

Assist large, dynamic government organizations with planning and designing VoIP networks. Develop and recommend solutions to optimize the existing network infrastructure to support VoIP traffic. Develop target network architecture for enterprise-wide VoIP networks. Work with clients to baseline the current environment, conduct network assessments and requirements gathering and analyses, and develop target network architecture and plans for successful migration towards the target environment. Assist federal clients with piloting and deploying multi-vendor solutions, including Cisco, Avaya, and Nortel VoIP.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with network design, planning, and implementation of large enterprise-wide LAN, WAN, and VoIP networks
-Experience with VoIP, IPv6, TCP/IP, Frame Relay, ATM, MPLS, and VPN technologies
-Experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, call managers, Windows 2000 and XP, and UNIX servers
-Experience with developing migration and deployment strategies
-Knowledge of Cisco, Avaya, and Nortel VoIP products
-Knowledge of network routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and RIP and the criteria for using them in large enterprise networks
-Knowledge of emerging technologies, including VoIP, IPv6, and MPLs
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
