It is every college slacker’s dream: Change a bad grade into a good one–without any effort.

Xinhaunet reports Chinese hackers are now claiming they can break into computer systems at universities and certification institutes and change students’ grades for a fee. Depending on the majors and schools involved, the price can range from a few thousand yuan to more than 10,000 yuan.

One of the websites promoting these kinds of services had a slogan saying, “If you did badly in an examination, come to our hacker team.”

According to a hacker running one of these sites, changing a grade usually takes between one and five working days. The man claimed his team took care of all details and would sign a confidentiality agreement with their customers after successfully hacking the system and changing the grade.

“Be careful to keep it secret during the deal,” he warned. “If you show off to others, your score could be problematic.”
