Bill Meyers serves as deputy general counsel for Booz Allen Hamilton. In this position, he oversees the law department’s team of 22 professional and support staff spread across six practice groups and provides senior-level strategic counsel for legal issues facing the firm.
He also leads the law department’s Employment Law Practice Group. In this capacity, Meyer is responsible for handling all legal issues involving the firm’s relationship with its employees. He also provides counsel to the firm's leaders and represents Booz Allen in employment-related litigation matters.
Additionally, Meyers serves as counsel and corporate secretary for the firm’s ECAP board of trustees, and is a member of the People Strategy Steering Committee and FINOPS team.
Meyers joined Booz Allen in 1994 as associate general counsel and held this position until 2006.
Before joining Booz Allen, Meyers was assistant general counsel for the Department of the Navy. While in this position, he dealt with government contracts law and employment law.
Meyers received his B.S. degree in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Connecticut. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University. He is a member of the bars of Virginia, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.
