Michael V. Hayden Joins Alion’s Board of Directors

Gen. Michael V. Hayden, USAF (Ret.) has been named to Alion Science and Technology’s board of directors.

Hayden has served in various government roles, including National Security Agency director, CIA director, and principal deputy director of national intelligence. Other positions include commander of the Air Intelligence Agency and director of the Joint Command and Control Warfare Center.

“We are fortunate that Gen. Hayden has joined Alion’s board,” said Bahman Atefi, Alion chairman and CEO. “His experience and unique insights will help the company tremendously as we expand our service offerings to serve a growing range of customers.”

Hayden currently serves as principal at the Chertoff Group and is a distinguished visiting professor at George Mason University School of Public Policy.
