Amazon has added two new free downloads for its Kindle, and this time around it is not e-books.
Shuffled Row and Every Word are word games that can be delivered wirelessly via Amazon’s Whispernet–for free–to a Kindle. In Shuffled Row, the player is to create as many words as possible from 60 lettered tiles. The tiles are added to row one at a time, which means the player will constantly be working with a new set of letters.
After submitting a word, the letters used will be removed and new ones will be added. Players can increase their score by using less common letters, or by creating longer words.
Every Word is another word-scrambling game. The player gets six or seven scrambled letters with the goal of finding as many words as he or she can. Points ate scored by filling out the words in each empty spot on the board using only the letters appearing at the top of the game board. The more words the player makes, the higher his or her score. And as with Shuffled Row, longer words are worth more than shorter ones.
