General Dynamics’ Nadia Short Joins Board of Directors at NCSA

The National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) has named Nadia Short, VP of General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems’ cyber division, to its board of directors.

NCSA works with government, private, nonprofit and academic organizations to promote cybersecurity education and awareness.

“Nadia Short has been working to protect critical infrastructure and ensure the integrity of electronic communications for her entire career,” said NCSA Executive Director Michael Kaiser. “We are delighted to welcome Nadia to our board and look forward to working with her to keep citizens protected from cyber crimes.”

Short points to raising awareness as a major goal she is looking forward to meeting.

“Cybersecurity now affects everyone,” Short said. “We are moving toward a post-desktop computer era, where our interaction with cyberspace is becoming seamless in our daily lives. We believe in the mission of the NCSA and I look forward to working with its board to increase cybersecurity awareness and Internet safety.”
