A Billion Dollar Day for SRA

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) awarded SRA International (NYSE: SRX) a big piece of a $4 billion pie as it announced the leading technology firm based in Fairfax, Va., would was a contract winner on its  Information Management Services contract.

The contract will cover a number of CDC projects and encompasses a total value of $4 billion over 10 years.

The projects will focus on public health program support and IT development.

“The CDC continues to demonstrate leadership and innovation in addressing these challenges –  and to support CDC in these efforts, SRA will continue to deliver our deep expertise in information technology, public health and management consulting,“ said SRA Senior Vice President Steve Tolbert. “In partnership with CDC, SRA is prepared to address the evolving public health and information management challenges of the next decade.”
