HP Enterprise Services announced it was the recipient of a task order of up to $26 million from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
HP will provide data-quality services and maintain the CMS Integrated Data Repository, all of which will better ensure the accuracy of payments.
The contract will be used to better implement electronic health records as CMS makes the digital transition.
“To administer the Medicare and Medicaid EHR incentive programs, CMS must adopt even higher levels of data integrity to accurately make incentive payments to healthcare providers,“ said Dennis Stolkey, senior vice president, U.S. Public Sector, HP Enterprise Services. “HP will assist CMS in the maintenance, management and integration of large volumes of Medicare data as this important program moves forward.“
