The Security Innovation Network, an organization focused on advancing cybersecurity innovation through public-private collaboration, is hosting a summit of leaders who are at the forefront of identifying solutions to defeat global security threats.
The SINET Showcase, which will be held Oct. 26-27, 2010 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., will feature an opening keynote by former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, and other speakers including Nadia Short, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems; George Hoyem, In-Q-Tel; and Curtis Carlson, SRI International.
There will also be presentations of innovative technologies by 20 emerging companies. Leaders from across major industries, government, academia and the venture capital and investment-banking communities will convene, and two panel discussions will focus on the importance of advancing innovation through open and new collaborative models.
Additionally, the forum will offer a series of workshops targeting challenges facing early stage and emerging growth companies.
