IT firm Intelligent Decisions announced last week it has become a philanthropic partner of the Tiger Woods Foundation, providing a majority of the IT products and services required to open two Tiger Woods Learning Center Campuses in Washington, D.C.
These facilities focus on using a STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) curriculum to help students discover a rewarding path to college and careers.
The two Tiger Woods Learning Center D.C. campuses are located at the Cesar Chavez Public Charter School in Ward 6, and the Cesar Chavez Public Charter School in Ward 7. During the construction phase, Intelligent Decisions donated server racks, Cisco switches, data cabling and battery backup equipment. The company also provided cyber and physical security solutions for access control, motion detection, badge readers and security software licensing.
“The Tiger Woods Foundation has changed the lives of so many youths by raising their confidence level, granting scholarships and introducing them to various innovative programs that they otherwise wouldn“™t have had the opportunity to participate in,“ said Harry I. Martin, president and CEO of Intelligent Decisions. “We are proud to have developed a relationship with such a selfless organization and look forward to assisting them in guiding and supporting the underprivileged youth of America.“
