USIS, an Altegrity company, has named Stephen Synnott director of intelligence analysis and technology solutions.
Synnott reports to USIS Security Solutions Division President Mike Fraser and is based in Falls Church, Va.

Synnott joins USIS from SRA International, where he most recently served as program manager for SRA's Defense Intelligence Agency Solutions for Intelligence contract. At SRA, he led the firm’s efforts in pursuing a wide range of analysis initiatives in support of DIA and other Intelligence Community customers.
Synnott previously was SRA's director of STRATCOM operations from 2004-2008, where he led SRA's efforts at U.S. Strategic Command in the areas of Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction; Information Operations; Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance; and Global Missile Defense.
Before joining SRA, Synnott was an intelligence professional in the U.S. Air Force, with more than two decades in intelligence analysis and reporting, information operations, threat analysis and risk assessment.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in information systems management from the University of Maryland, University College.
