The U.S. Army Project Manager Network Service Center has awarded Apptis its Command Center Upgrades Contract, the company announced today. As part of the deal, Apptis will work in project management, systems support and planning functions for the Defense Logistics Agency’s J6 Informations Operations Project.
More specifically, Apptis will provide acquisition, installation, and technical support of telecommunications systems and interoperable command centers. This work includes everything from updating satellite communications capabilities to upgrading messaging protocols and military networks.
