Government Contractors Take Home the Gold at Contracting Awards

Nearly 1,000 attendees, including government contracting luminaries, made their way to the 8th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards on Nov. 3 to see what some call the “Academy Awards of Government Contracting” awarded to the lucky few winning companies and executives.

The coveted award for Contractor of the Year was broken into four groups. The winners in the less-than-$25 million category were Blue Canopy Group and Digital Management.

Buccaneer Computer Systems & Services took home the award in the $25-$75 million category.

A-T Solutions was proclaimed the winner for a company earning between $75 and $300 million.

And CGI Federal took home the top spot in the $300 million-and-greater category.

As for Executives of the Year:

Anne Reed, ASI Government (less than $75 million)

Dr. Long Nguyen, Pragmatics Inc. ($75-$300 million)

Ralph Shrader, Booz Allen & Hamilton ($300 million and greater)
