Juniper Networks has named former Alacatel-Lucent executive Sean Dolan to the role of senior vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
In his new role, Dolan will be responsible for sales development, training and enablement, strategic planning, customer engagement and revenue growth, among other areas. Reporting to John Morris, Juniper’s executive vice president of worldwide sales, Dolan will lead Juniper’s support for the growing demand for IP networking across the EMEA region.
Dolan said with Juniper Networks being an innovative player in the networking and cloud-based computing space, this is an exciting time to join the company.
“The company’s vision for the new network, embodied most recently by the Junos Pulse Mobile Security Suite, shows that Juniper is at the forefront of product innovation,” he said. “Juniper understands customers’ needs for high-performance networking at a lower total cost of ownership. I welcome the opportunity to play a role in this dynamic company and look forward to the opportunity to extend our commitment to service providers, enterprise customers and our growing partner base in EMEA.”
Dolan has more than 25 years’ experience growing and managing complex technology, networking and service businesses throughout the world. Before his tenure at Alcatel-Lucent, Dolan held executive positions with EDS, Wang Laboratories and Ernst & Young, among others.
