Cisco to Host Live Cloud-Computing Programs

Cisco will broadcast two Internet TV broadcasts about its study results on cloud computing, virtualization and data centers, the company announced today.

The broadcasts will air 8 p.m., Dec. 7 and 8, and will also be available after their original air dates. Special guests and technology experts from Cisco and other industry leading companies will be on hand for both airings.

The first showing, “Network Service Providers as Cloud Providers,“ will feature information about public clouds and potential strategies for adoption of new infrastructures in the U.S., European Union and India.

“Cisco Connected World Report,” the final segment of a three-part series, will air Dec. 8. It will present employee expectations for data accessibility and the corresponding evolution of data centers. Some of the real-world problems the show will examine include barriers to virtualization and tools for collaboration in IT environments.
