President Barack Obama announced his intent to nominate several individuals to the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, including Lockheed Martin’s Linda Gooden.
Gooden is executive vice president of Lockheed Martin’s Information Systems & Global Solutions and an officer of Lockheed Martin Corporation. IS&GS provides integrated IT solutions, systems and services to support worldwide missions for government agencies.
Prior to her current position, Gooden was president of Lockheed Martin Information Technology. In 2008, she was chosen for Corporate Board Member magazine’s Top 50 women in Technology and inducted into the Maryland Business Hall of Fame.
“I am confident that these talented individuals will greatly serve this administration and the American people,” Obama said. “I look forward to working with them in the coming months and years.”
