The scavenger hunt, which kicked off yesterday, includes two phases. The first question will be posted on the NDU Press Facebook page, and participants will have to search the NDU Press website for the answer. The answer will be a link that takes you to a new page with another keyword and a clue, continuing on until you complete the hunt. You will know when you have found an answer as the link will be bold and red.
To complete the scavenger hunt, you must find all nine keywords. The first 10 people to send all the keywords in the right order to [email protected] will win a prize.
The second phase of the scavenger hunt will continue over 10 days. Participants will have to locate virtual “Easter eggs“ hidden throughout the NDU Press website. People who find an Easter egg will win a prize.
Scavenger hunt prizes include a signed copy of Partnership for the Americas by Adm. James G. Stavridis, photographic prints of the National Defense University by Tara Parekh, NDU apparel and subscriptions to Joint Force Quarterly and PRISM.
The NDU Press scavenger hunt is the brainchild of Joey Seich, Internet publications editor at the NDU Press, as part of an ongoing effort to improve web traffic and feedback for the site.
