Hoping to instill a sense of volunteerism among professionals, Deloitte Services LP released its “Making a Difference… Differently” video series.
The films spotlight professionals working pro bono on issues such as urban poverty, college for low-income students, disaster response and the Paralympics.
Deloitte’s film series focuses on how nonprofits can accomplish their missions when given the proper resources to meet their unique challenges.
Evan Hochberg, national director of community involvement for Deloitte, said the films were primarily made to show Deloitte employees how much they have to offer.
“Deloitte is committed to helping advance the field of community involvement by focusing on volunteerism that achieves very tangible outcomes, and this film series is an opportunity for us to spark dialogue that makes people think about the value of their professional skills in a different way,” he said.
Four short films, “Fellowship, Skills, Ready and Empower,” showcase professionals using their expertise and business skills to assist nonprofit organizations.
