Avaya CEO Kevin Kennedy to Address Enterprise Connect 2011

Avaya CEO Kevin Kennedy will deliver a keynote address at Enterprise Connect 2011, an enterprise communications conference and exhibition.

According to the firm, “Kennedy will discuss the current state of the multimedia communications industry, including why business collaboration is an important element to enterprise communications and how it is changing the way businesses operate and people interact.”

Kennedy will speak at 11:15 a.m. on Tue., March 1, 2011 at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Fla.

“There’s a fundamental shift underway in enterprise communications,” Kennedy said. “SIP changes the very nature of communication and collaboration and transforms the possibilities for users. Complexity is reduced as productivity improves, costs go down and performance goes up. Rethinking the user experience in terms of unified communications-based, multimodal ‘sessions,’ opens the door to a broader set of collaboration capabilities and provides an on-ramp to cloud services.”
