Oceus Networks announced this week several new additions to its Public Sector division.
Alan Stewart joins the group as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to joining Oceus, Stewart served as CFO and senior vice president of ICF International, Inc., and CFO for DataZen, Blackboard and Deltek Systems, Inc. In his new position, he will manage Oceus’ finances and serve as adviser on financial decisions.
Peter Brady will parlay his 26 years of experience in managing international IT networks for federal and NATO clients into developing sales strategies in his new position as vice president of sales. Brady served 20 years in the U.S. military, was sales director at Sprint, regional manager for Cisco Systems and sales director for Merlin International.
Gary Messina takes on the role of vice president of business development. He will spearhead efforts to expand international business opportunities for Oceus Networks. Messina’s career spans 30 years in the private sector, having served as the director of global strategies for Raytheon Corporation and corporate director for L-3 Communications. Messina also served as assistant commissioner with the Immigration and Naturalization Service and as the first chief information officer for the Citizenship and Information Service in Department of Homeland Security.
