Some of the featured speakers include: Melissa Hathaway, senior adviser to MINERVA from the Harvard Kennedy School; Gordon Snow, assistant director of the FBI's Cyber Division; Maj. Gen. Edward Bolton, director of Cyber and Space Operations for the Air Force; and Dr. Martin Libicki of the RAND Corporation.
The main focus of the event will be about ways to develop cybersecurity policy in a world of hacking and technological vulnerabilities. These challenges, among many others, will be discussed, as will solutions to combat cyber attacks.
The event will include a free career fair for the aerospace and defense firms, who will be recruiting for those interested in cyber-tech openings. AFA will also host the national high school cyber-defense competition, CyberPatriot III. The last round of the national championship will be taking place at the conference, followed by an awards dinner.
The conference takes place March 31-April 1.
