Microsoft's Dynamics Government Contractor Solution Center announced this week the Honorable Thomas M. Davis, director of Federal Government Affairs at Deloitte Services, will be the keynote speaker for next week's government contractor summit.
Davis served seven terms in the Virginia House, representing Virginia's 11th congressional district. During his political career, he served as chairman of the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee and as chair of the subcommittee on Technology and Procurement Policy.
Greg Myers, Microsoft Federal's general manager for Civilian and Healthcare Agencies, will kick off the Fourth Annual Microsoft Government Contractor Summit March 17 at the Marriott Fairview Park Hotel in Falls Church, Va.
The summit will include a panel discussion, moderated by Federal News Radio anchor Tom Temin, on insourcing, contract competition and other issues relating to government contracting. Bob Burleson of Software Process Technologies Inc., Tony Jimenez from MicroTech, David Kriegman of Jacobs Technology, Inc. and Ajay Madan of OST Global will join Temin for the discussion.
“Government contractors are facing many challenges today from expected budget cuts to in-sourcing to competitive threats,“ said Bernard Mustafa, chief executive officer at Microsoft Dynamics Partner Pleasant Valley Business Solutions. “The summit will provide a forum to address some of these topics and to show how best-of-breed business solutions can help them grow and improve their operational capabilities.”
