Intelligent Decisions has launched a new tool to allow government and commercial airlines to rapidly collect and interpret critical flight communications and security data, in a bold, new step for aviation security that is also cost-effective.
The firm’s resident cyber guru Roy Stephan, vice president for Technology Solutions, highlighted the new tool, IDOptimize, yesterday at the AA IT/ISS Partnership and Training Conference in Orlando, Fla.
The IDOptimize solution not only rapidly collects and interprets essential data but it also helps in countering cyber attacks, something that is particularly critical on high-visibility communication networks that are considered high value targets for attacks, ID said.
In addition, any aviation operator can also easily be trained on how to use IDOptimize, which the company describes as a user-friendly solution that slashes costs while increasing results.
“Giving the right information to the right person at the right time is the key to situation management,” Stephan said. “Our aviation security solution is focused on providing the government and civilian airline industries with the latest in IT tools and resources necessary to help ensure flight security.”
The Defense Information Systems Agency is currently using IDOptimize to test and debug sensitive information as well as protect the agency’s secure Internet system, networks and information.
