Cyveillance is teaming up with Wombat Security Technologies to educate organizations on phishing scams and provide training on ways of protection against them.
An email campaign will test employees through phishing scams they could fall for. Wombat will use PhishGuru, an online tool to asses and train employees through simulated phishing emails. If employees fall for the scam, they will be introduced to phishing, social engineering and ways on how to protect themselves.
Director of Product Management for Cyveillance James Brooks said with the emergence of interactive online communication tools such as social networks, blogs, microblogs and more, it is imperative that every single employee of an organization is properly trained and educated on the risks of social-engineering attacks.
Cyveillance will use its cyber-safety awareness training to fully educate employees and executives on phishing attacks. Both Wombat's PhishGuru and Cyveillance use software-as-a-service model, so organizations can repeatedly access and train employees to maximize knowledge retention and continuously increase awareness and security.
Cyveillance is a subsidiary of QinetiQ North America.
