ENSCO Acquires IData Visual Systems

ENSCO has announced the acquisition of the IData product line from Quantum3D. The product line includes a software development toolkit, and application elements that provide a highly efficient development environment and high operational performance for digital display devices.

President and CEO of ENSCO Greg Young praised the IData product line and said IData’s reputation for customer service is a strategic complement to the ENSCO portfolio.

Echoing praise for IData, Innovative Systems Solutions at ENSCO and VP of IData Systems Inc. Neil Fifield said the merging of IData products to ENSCO’s current solution set will provide added value to IData customers and current avionics customers.

IData Visual Systems Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of ENSCO.
